WEST HAVEN, CT — The 2021 municipal election is heating up in West Haven with plenty of races on the ballot. Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 2 and cast their ballots for the position of mayor, along with seats on the City Council, Board of Education and more. West Haven Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as election day draws near. Republican Thomas Dellacamera, 63, is running for election as West Haven City Council At-Large. Occupation: Retired The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it: The quality of life. If I am blessed to be elected as a Councilman at Large in West Haven, I will be committed to improving the quality of life. Critical differences between me and my opponents: I am a lifelong Westie who remembers when West Haven was thriving. We can make West Haven a safe place where seniors, veterans, families and individuals can work, and live and play once again. Accomplishments: I worked for the City of West Haven for 17 years and built relationships with people in the City who share my vision to make West Haven better.
