HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Oct. 15 through Oct. 23.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
Richard Zeis, 62, of East Northport, entered a Verleye Avenue, Elwood, home at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 3 through an unlocked garage door, police said. Zeis entered the main part of the house through a hole he cut in the sheetrock, police said. Police said it doesn't look like Zeis stole anything. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling on Oct. 19.Douglas Davis, 20, of Centerport, stole a 2019 GMC Yukon on Prospect Road in Centerport between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 15, police said. Davis tried to use a debit card he found inside the stolen Yukon, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on Oct. 15.
