Woodshop Assistant - Flexible Schedule

Greenport Construction, Inc. is looking for someone to help with the day to day tasks at our woodshop in San Rafael. We can do PT or FT hours, with a flexible schedule. We do need someone who can commit to either Friday and/or Monday every week, and we need at least 3 days (with flexibility on hours worked per day) at the shop. Our shop hours are 8:30-5:30 during the week and closed on weekends. Please be sure you can work three days a week during these hours. Tasks include: -Basic janitorial duties include cleaning SHOP, bathroom, office and kitchen areas : this is the BULK of the work detail. -Inventory Control and basic maintenance -Assistance with some wood projects and heavy lifting We are interested in someone who can master this position and eventually work their way into our crew and team for on-site projects. We are excited to train the right person. We require all applicants to be sober, own a vehicle with a valid drivers license, and to be present when on the job - this is an entry level position with many moving parts and details - none of which are considered 'small'. This person would be taking on daily tasks alongside the flexibility of taking on support roles for various projects within the shop. Plus points given to someone who is highly driven, can take on a leadership role for the shop, and holds a very can-do spirit and attitude. There is an expectation of autonomy and 'self-starter' attitude for this role and person. Women and POC are encouraged to apply.
