As a former New York City Board of Education teacher I know that 95% of the teachers are not qualified to teach trigonometry. I also know that the very best teachers are those that use costumes play-acting and music to enhance the effectiveness of the lessons to the students. Candice Reed is obviously not conservative and very advanced. Yes she was emotional and what is wrong with that? Her students now have that lesson imbedded in them memory for life. This is a sign of a superior teacher. But she does not belong in a conservative educational school. She belongs in a progressive Advanced school for Progressive and advanced students.
