New this year, Paducah Parks & Recreation is organizing the Fall Frenzy Farmers' Market, a market with a variety of items to kickstart holiday shopping, meal-planning, and gift-giving. It will be Saturday, November 13 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Downtown Farmers' Market location at 306 North 2nd Street. In addition to items for purchase, enjoy music by The Rhythm Revue, carriage rides, and a backdrop for fall photos.
New Vendors: Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for new market vendors to participate. Applications will be accepted through November 3 with a $25 participation fee. Vendors can submit their application via email to [email protected] or deliver the application in person or by mail to the Parks & Recreation office. Parks staff will then set a meeting to review product samples before the application can be approved. Application and Guidelines
Existing Market Vendors: Existing Farmers' Market vendors do not need to apply. However, so that the event spaces can be mapped, existing vendors must contact Parks & Recreation by November 3 at 270-444-8508 to be included in Fall Frenzy.
Final Days for Regular Market Season: There is one week left for the regular Farmers' Market season. The final day for the Tuesday Mid-week Market at Carson Park (301 Joe Clifton Drive) will be October 26 from 3 until 7 p.m. The final day for the Downtown Farmers' Market (306 North 2nd Street) will be October 30 from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Holiday Market in December: Looking ahead to December, mark your calendar for the Holiday Market. It will be on Saturday, December 11 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Stay tuned for details.
