SAN RAMON, CA — Grab your skates, San Ramon! The Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Rink is coming to City Center Bishop Ranch soon. The ice rink will be open from noon to 9:30 p.m. daily, Nov. 17 to Jan. 2. at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Camino Ramon. Family skate is held weekdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Some proceeds will benefit acclaimed figure skater Yamaguchi's Always Dream nonprofit, which helps provide books to kids from low-income families. Swing by the grand opening ceremony Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a ribbon-cutting, figure skating performance and singing from Sophia Percora. City Center recommends people book tickets for a 90-minute session online, as same-day tickets purchased at the ice rink are subject to availability. Costs are as follows and include ice skate rentals.
