I am looking to hire an assistant to help with the repair/replacement of a cedar fence at a home in Ken Caryl (southwest Denver metro area). The successful hire will be a person who has some fence construction experience and who also has experience removing old fence posts (and the concrete caissons).
The work will probably last two or three days. It involves removing some old fence posts, the fence pickets, the stringers, pouring new concrete caissons, and replacing the deteriorated parts of the fence. This is real work, make no mistake. Please don’t respond to this posting if you are not used to physical labor.
I need someone who shows up on time, knows how to follow directions, can communicate well, and is not afraid of hard work. You must have your own transportation. It would be helpful—but not necessary—if you had your own basic tools.
The pay is $20/hour, paid in cash at the end of the job (as stated above, about two or three days’ worth of work). I have many more projects in the metro area, so if this first project works out there will be more opportunities to work.
