PALM DESERT, CA — A man was hospitalized in serious condition after suffering a medical emergency on a trail in Palm Desert Sunday. Just after 1:20 p.m., firefighters responded to the Bump and Grind Trail and trekked to the man's location, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. Emergency crews brought the man down to the trailhead, where he was met by a ground ambulance, which took him to the hospital in serious condition, fire officials said.
