Alamon has opportunities for Fiber To The Home Installer with fiber-to-the-home experience in Elk Grove California and the surrounding area. The Fiber To The Home Installer will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cabling in residential and commercial environments. This includes termination and testing of low voltage/network cabling and fiber optic cables. Wage starts at 22.00 per hour and up!!! We are also offering a sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment of $250.00. APPLY NOW AT -----------> RESPONSIBILITIES: Climbing ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces in customers’ homes Capable of installing Cat 5E cables, modems, set-top boxes, routers, power supplies, etc. Respectful to customers and team members Wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures Knowledge of telecommunications, fiber, CATV, and data cabling installation tasks Understanding and following company policies QUALIFICATIONS: Must have General Computer skills Must have a valid driver license with a clean MVR Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions and work orders Must be safety conscious PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work outside in all types of weather Must be able to lift and carry an 80-pound ladder and meet ladder safety requirements Must be able to work at heights of 3-25 ft.
