Description
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating the death of a man underneath the Interstate 393 bridge on South Commercial Street on Sunday.
Concord fire and rescue teams and police were sent to homeless camp underneath the bridge for a possible "code gray" call, indicating a dead person, at a little past 11 a.m.
About 10 minutes later, firefighters confirmed the man was a dead and cleared the scene. The man was found by two homeless women, according to police scanner chatter.
According to Brian Hardy, a local photographer and scanner jockey, who was first to report the call, the area has been cleared of camps repeatedly by police in the past. He said the medical examiner was requested to the scene after the body was found.
The name of the man has not been officially released.
Concord NH Patch will update this story when more information becomes available.
