Press release from the City of Concord: October 19, 2021 We're hiring for a full-time Sewer Maintenance Supervisor for our sewer crew within our Highway and Utilities Division! Work includes supervising and assisting in the maintenance, repair, and construction of the City's sanitary sewer system. Duties include directing and assisting in the maintenance of clearing sewer mains, constructing new laterals, repairing and clearing existing laterals, constructing and repairing inverts, and resetting manhole and catch basin frames. Availability after-hours for emergencies is critical with overtime required. Performs other related duties as assigned, including winter snow plowing. A CDL-B with air brake endorsement is required or must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Comprehensive benefits package offered. Starting hourly pay is between $23.44 and $27.82, depending on qualifications, with $33.93 as the top of the pay scale.
