Overview: A large homeowner’s association (HOA) located in central Denver is seeking a qualified maintenance specialist / technician to perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities related to the upkeep and longevity of the property. Duties and Responsibilities: The primary function of the is to conduct the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of all common area components including: Building exteriors (roofs, gutters, siding, etc.) Building interior (for association responsible building components) Building systems/infrastructure (HVAC, sewer, MEP, etc.) Community amenities (clubhouse, pool, pool house, gym, etc.) Grounds (fencing, retaining walls, lighting, gutters, curbs, driveways, ponds, etc.) Landscape and Irrigation system as needed Essential functions include: Daily maintenance of pool including chemical balancing and equipment upkeep Daily maintenance of water feature (pond) filters, pumps, levels, etc. Maintain and manage association equipment, tools, and inventory of supplies Working with Property Manager, provide vendor management for service contracts and special projects as needed Conduct regular whole property inspections and evaluations a furnish reports to Property Manager Assist Property Manager with development and implementation of strategic planning including preventative maintenance and capital expense plans Perform special tasks at the direction of the Property Manager as needed Requirements Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications: Must provide exceptional, high quality work in a timely fashion Must be able to perform extensive physical labor through a variety of environmental conditions Must be self-motivated and willing to work independently Must have reliable transportation and cell phone Ability to manage time and schedule effectively Ability to prioritize maintenance issues based on urgency and importance Must be able to report effectively to property manager and furnish reports of work completed Ability to problem solve and act quickly in the best interest of the community Must be a great communicator and work well with various personality types Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience with facilities and grounds maintenance and stewardship Benefits: Fulltime employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package following a 60-day period Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
