Description
Press release from the City of St. Louis Park:
October 25, 2021 6:00 a.m.
The Just Deeds Project was founded by a coalition of attorneys, realtors and nonprofits to help homeowners locate and discharge racially restrictive language from their property titles. Historically, racial covenants have most significantly targeted, impacted and contributed to systemically limiting access to housing for those from Black communities, as well as members of communities who did not identify as white.
The City of St. Louis Park is proud to be partnering with Just Deeds in its commitment to being a leader in racial equity and inclusion in order to create a more just and inclusive community for all.
If you are a resident and interested in participating in the program, contact Yariet Montes-Huerta at [email protected]. For more information, visit the Just Deeds website.
