Laureen Janeczek Wysocki, an Evergreen Park Community High School alum who graduated in 1980, continues to live her dream with a career in music that has now spanned more than three decades. Janeczek Wysocki has been a soprano in the Lyric Opera of Chicago Chorus since 1988. "I have been blessed to have a long and creative career doing what I love, singing at the Lyric Opera of Chicago," Janeczek Wysocki said, adding that it was during her time as a student at EPCHS when her passion for music developed. "I am grateful to have received an excellent education in music, which blossomed during my time at EPHS, 1976-1980," she said. "I am especially thankful that my high school choir director, Jay Fry, used to take me to/from professional voice lessons in Chicago."
