My sweet Iskierka needs a new loving home. I’m so sad to give her up, but we are moving to Brazil, literally to the middle of the jungle, and it just would not work to take her with us or be safe for her. She turned 5 this summer and is a Bengal mix. When we got her as a kitten 5 years ago, we were told she was full Bengal, but I don’t think that’s true. That being said, she does have a lot of Bengal characteristics, like being super playful, a great talker, not really bothered by water, does tricks as good as our dog, and does not appreciate being picked up. To clarify, she is happy to snuggle on your lap or in bed, enjoys being pet and brushed, and adores head rubbing (her head rubbing on my head), but picking her up in the air terrifies her, which is a well-known Bengal trait. In her younger days, she had two adorable batches of kittens, but she is now fixed and also microchipped. She has been raised around lots of different animals and tolerates dogs, but adores bunnies and Guinea pigs. She literally was best friends with our house bunny until the bunny tragically passed away and the cat mourned for weeks. She also does good with chicks, chickens, parakeets and the like. She’s not a huge fan of young kids, as I have five and she kind of thinks they’re over-rated 😂 She is sensitive to cheap cat food and can only eat higher quality that doesn’t have grain or fillers/meat by-products in it. That being said, she doesn’t eat very much, so she’s really not very expensive to feed.
