Fremont Power Outage Affects Thousands

FREMONT, CA — A workday that began with Interstate Highway 880 closed due to flooding is ending with a power outage that affects more than 4,600 PG&E customers. The power is out on both sides of Fremont Boulevard, from Mowry Avenue to Stevenson Boulevard. The electricity failed shortly before 3 p.m. Monday. PG&E is working on the issue, but does not have an estimate of when power will be restored.
