SOLON, OH — After a 4-6, the Solon High Comets have punched their ticket for the postseason. Sixteen teams in each region make the playoffs, under the Ohio High School Athletics Association (OHSAA) rules. The Comets finished the season ranked No. 13 in their region. On Friday, the Comets will head to No. 4 Canton McKinley's home turf for the first round of the football playoffs. Canton McKinley finished the year with a record of 6-4. Live in Solon? All Division I, Division II, and Division III first-round playoff games will be played on Friday night. Lower divisions will play Saturday.
