ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — It was a strong fall overall for the Hersey High School varsity football team as it posted a 7-2 record in the regular season. Next up for the Huskies is the Illinois High School Association playoffs. The IHSA released the postseason brackets and seedings on Saturday. Hersey, a No. 14 seed, squares off with No. 19 seed Jacobs (6-3) in a first-round contest of the 32-team Class 7A playoffs. Kickoff is 7 p.m. Friday for the home contest. 20-4-1 regular season record for our @HerseyHuskies football this fall. So incredibly proud of all of our players, coaches, families, and school. Hersey was third in the conference. The Eagles, who finished fourth in the Fox Valley conference, beat Dundee-Crown, 47-14, in their regular season finale.
