Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: October 25, 2021 The 2021 Alaska Women Veterans Conference is the first of its kind in our state! We're inviting all women veterans, women on active duty and women serving in the National Guard and Reserves to attend. The theme of the statewide conference is Visibility, Resiliency and Connection. Hosting state and national women veteran speakers to explore the experiences of women veterans. Hosted by Operation Mary Louise, a state-wide veterans project, the conference is offered as a free online event. We are also offering breakout sessions for women veterans to learn more about services and programs available in our state.
