TRUSSVILLE, AL — Expansion plans are underway for the Trussville Academy of Gymnastics. Mayor Buddy Choat said in his State of the City address that the expansion will be added to the Trussville Civic Center, according to the Trussville Tribune. Choat said the new expansion "could hold up to 1,000 people during the course of the day with the events going on," the Tribune report said. The building's exterior will be designed by Davis Architects and "flow with the original design of the civic center," according to the report.
