The Maintenance Technician / Responsible for day to day operations and assisting the Property Manager in all areas for Plaza Del Monte Rental Community in Santa Fe, NM.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
Time Management
Organized
Perform Work Orders
Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs
Make vacant units ready for move in
Perform routine maintenance including, installations, modifications, construction, small roof repairs, painting, plumbing, cleaning, HVAC, appliances, ordering, Vendor communication, scheduling and ability to assist in controlling expenses.
Participate with Property Manager with community maintenance and improvement plan
Have an understanding of:
Local codes and laws.
Fair Housing and NM Uniform Owner-Resident Relations Act (Landlord Tenant Laws)
General Responsibilities and Requirements:
Full time position. Previous experience required.
Available for on call Emergencies
Must have reliable transportation Truck/Van, clean driving record, proof of vehicle insurance.
Have basic construction tools
General knowledge all aspects of Property Management maintenance and repair
Good communicator and listener
Friendly and positive attitude. Customer service oriented
