San Luis Obispo Public Market is looking for a hard-working and reliable day porter to provide day-to-day maintenance at the SLO Public Market Campus. As a day porter, you would be responsible for making sure the facility/campus looks neat and presentable to the community. A successful candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask, and adaptable. The candidate will work with management to create a list of daily tasks to be completed; which will be completed in a safe and timely manner. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to(this will be done with a team of people): Taking out the trash/recycling/compost inside and outside Restroom Cleaning/maintenance and restocking disposables Informing management when restock items are needed Cleaning up spills Responding to cleaning emergencies Clearing messy tables Wiping down tables Disinfecting high-touch surfaces (door handles, stair rails, etc.) When applicable, put out caution signs on the floor Mopping floor Bi-Weekly office cleaning Ability to communicate
