Bricklight Realty Management is looking for an experienced maintenance technician to service over 400 apartment homes in Portland, Maine. The maintenance technician must conduct repairs on a variety of flooring types, electrical, plumbing and heating systems which will require some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, however we will train hard working individuals. Good customer skills are also required. Must have valid Drivers License. You will have a company provided van that can be taken home after 30 days within 30 minutes of the maintenance shop. Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of and plumbing and electrical fixtures, basic construction methods Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Technical and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma or equivalent Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is highly desired, but not required.'
