To honor Ms. Bessie B. Stringfield riding legacy. The ride highlights Ms. Bessie’s 8 solo cross-country rides. The Bessie Stringfield ALL FEMALE RIDE is in honor of Ms. Bessie B. Stringfield "The Motorcycle Queen of Miami" and her legacy. We have traveled the highways for seven years on what we have titled "The Penny Tour.” The “Penny Tour” symbolizes the way Bessie Stringfield would take a map and toss a penny in the air and wherever the penny landed is where Bessie would ride. The 2021 is the last and eighth ride. The ride is the highlight of our event because it honors Ms. Stringfield and her efforts to "ride free" during a time when it was not acceptable for women to travel alone or ride motorcycles. The ride also includes the "Chat and Chew." During the chat and chew, guest speakers from the female biker community speak on topics. The ride also unifies female bikers across the country to continue our “SISTERHOOD” journey. Although many female bikers are members of different clubs, affiliated with clubs and independent riders, this ride brings us together for that moment in time and UNIFIES in honor of Ms. Stringfield.
