Our small-team approach helps provide high quality services for the pets in our care while still providing flexibility to our staff. Open Positions: Pack Member: Our Pack Members work part-time and are scheduled based on their availability and demand in their area. Our Pack Member role is ideal for someone who *loves pets* and is looking for a chance to spend some extra time with cats and dogs. This flexible, fun position allows you to prioritize how you spend your time. Many of our Pack Members work other jobs, are raising families or are partially retired. Pack Leader: We’re looking for a full-time Pack Leader. Our Pack Leaders are the backbone of the company. They provide the bulk of our pet care services, train and manage sitters, organize the schedule, and take on other essential admin projects based on skill and interest. The base salary is $36,000/year, with additional tips, bonuses and commission bringing annual pay to $38,000-$42,000 based on performance. · We offer a flexible schedule, regular pay, and opportunities for growth and advancement! · Our staff also receive generous tips, paid training, and discounted pet care for themselves. Requirements: · Base requirements include being legally authorized to work in the US, having access to an insured vehicle, willingness to submit to a background check, and own a smartphone with data plan. · The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem solver, team player, and has a willing/openness to learn new skills. They must be flexible and able to think critically to make decisions using the information available to them as well as a healthy dose of common sense. · It is just as important that they are a people-person as well as a pet lover. Good written and verbal communication skills are a MUST. · A positive attitude and willingness to roll with the punches will take you a long way! The Location: The Right Fluff Pet Sitting is based in North Bethesda, MD and services primarily lower Montgomery County (Rockville, Bethesda/Chevy Chase, Potomac, Kensington and Silver Spring/Takoma Park).
