EXPERIENCED GROOMS Grooms will be responsible for the routine daily care of the horses. This includes, but is not limited to, mucking stalls, grooming, bathing, basic groundwork, as well as assisting with veterinary and farrier work. It may also involve the light use of farm equipment such as tractors. These positions' schedules would consist of 48 hours across a 5.5 day work week. EXPERIENCED NIGHTWATCH Night watch is in charge of checking the stalls, fields, and paddocks, ensuring horses have ample hay and water through the night, monitoring all horses for health concerns. notifying the person on call should any issues arise, and closely monitoring Stallions and/or Mares during foaling season to notify the on-call person immediately once the mare appears to be in labor. All applicants should be self-motivated with the ability to work well as part of a team. Responsibilities require being able to lift, push, pull or carry 50lbs.
