Job Summary: Provides support to the snowmaking team by checking snow guns, changing placement to maximize snow coverage depending on weather conditions and maintenance of all snow making equipment. Essential Functions: Operation of snowmaking equipment including air and water hoses, air and water hydrants, tower guns, sled guns, pumps and compressors Safe operation of all mountain vehicles (including snowmobiles) Maintenance of all snowmaking equipment Documenting all operations performed for a hand-off report at shift change. Required Knowledge and Skills: Good work ethic and dependability Excellent communication skills Basic mechanical knowledge Ability to lift 70lbs Ability to work in low light conditions, in cold and snowy weather and with limited oversight. Physical and Mental Demands: This position works primarily outside, and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking on slippery and/or uneven snow or icy surfaces. Must remain alert and attentive at all times. Must lift up to 70 pounds. Shoveling large volumes of snow and/or ice is sometimes necessary.
