Job Summary: Assists and provides instruction to all passengers in safely loading and unloading from Ski Lifts. Essential Functions: Maintain load and unload ramps and areas around all lift stations Identify and report any hazards or concerns to the lift maintenance team Be familiar with all policies, procedures and rules regarding operating and riding a ski lift CUSTOMER SERVICE: The majority of our guests ride the lifts multiple times a day. Our lift attendants, therefore, have arguably the most interaction with the skiing public. It is imperative that you possess and can demonstrate patience, understanding and a willingness to see our guests have the best Ski experience run after run and day after day. Required Knowledge and Skills: Good work ethic and dependability Excellent customer service & communication skills Physical and Mental Demands: This position works primarily outside, and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking on slippery and/or uneven snow or icy surfaces. Must remain alert and attentive at all times. Must lift up to 50 pounds. Shoveling large volumes of snow and/or ice is required.
