Brilliant Solutions LLC. provides Housekeeping-Janitorial staffing within a large hospital in Des Moines. We have a full-time opportunity in the Housekeeping - Environmental Services Department. 1st shift working from 7:00AM to 3:30PM. 2nd shift working from 3:00PM to 11:30PM. All shifts are scheduled full time, 80 hours within a two week pay period. All positions require working every other weekend, with every other weekend off. When you work on a weekend your pay will be $16.45/hr. If you choose to work overtime, you will be paid $23.18/hr. for every hour over 80 hours within the two week pay period. As a Housekeeper, you will spend your day performing routine housekeeping tasks throughout the hospital. Your work is essential in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will be appreciated. We will provide comprehensive paid training, helping to ensure your success. You will learn and follow hospital guidelines and procedures. We will provide you with uniforms, and all the tools and equipment needed to be successful in your new position. Qualifications: • Reliable, with a strong work ethic, good attendance is very important • Able to work professionally with patients, visitors and teammates • Able to read, comprehend and communicate in English • Able to stoop, bend, kneel and stand throughout your shift • Able to lift trash and linen bags • Must be at least 18 years old and be authorized to work in the U.S. • Janitorial/Housekeeping experience. Health care cleaning experience preferred. Pre-Employment hospital requirements: • Must have had all childhood vaccinations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella, and Covid 19, flu shot. • Must receive and pass a TB test. • Must have acceptable background checks: Criminal, DHS, Federal Fraud Report, Sex Offender Registry. • Meeting all of the hospital requirements takes a little time from first phone interview, to selection and onboarding.
