Cold Weather Approaches... Join us at the OM Grown Community Garden for a free garden education workshop with Doug Poteet, a Hernando County Schools Science Teacher. Share ways to celebrate a bit differently this year while taking advantage of our great outdoors spaces. Come prepared to share ways to bring your garden into your celebration or ways to take your celebration out to it. Let's look back and see what we have accomplished along with looking forward to what we want to do in the near future. About our Garden: Our purpose is to provide sustainable gardening education & to bring nutritious, high quality, naturally grown food to our community. For the past two decades, he has been living in Hernando County, Florida, teaching Science at Pine Grove Elementary to students. There he Co-founded a Science/Garden club that has been teaching students the joy of gardening and eating good, clean food. Doug is excited to share his knowledge with the members of the OM Grown Garden at WellCome OM.
