Brindle male dog

We found a brindle male Pit dog in North Tulsa he is really the sweetest boy to us. Unfortunately he does not like cats or small dogs and we have both. He is an EXCELLENT guard dog. He loves to cuddle like he's a little baby!!! But because we don't know his history we do not want him to go to anyone with small children. We can tell he has had abuse in his history. He was in bad shape when we got him, he was underweight, he had terrible huge sore spots from upper mid back to the tip of his tail. He tested positive for heart worms. We have treated him for everything, he has had all his shots and has been neutered. We would like follow up with whoever takes him because we have gotten attached to him. He's in great shape now ready for his forever home.
