Join this group to share your work, learn from each other, and find new ways to invent, design, create and play. Let's celebrate the culture of Makers! Take your projects from DIY to Do It Together. Join this group to share your work, learn from each other, and find new ways to invent, design, create and play. You will learn about the sharing and feedback process. 1) We will divide the hour into equal parts for each participant, 2) you will get tips for positive and constructive feedback, 3) using the tips, participants will be invited to give and receive feedback on each others projects/ideas. This feedback is vital for project or idea based problem solving. Class Length: 1 HourPrerequisites: No experience needed. Bring an open mind and a project or idea. Min/max registrations: 4-6 This group is for Bellingham Makerspace Members only. Instructor Bio: Karla has been a maker for over 35 years and has taught art / design off and on for 20 plus of those years. She has participated in and taught numerous feedback groups and workshops since 1992. Karla looks forward to sharing her knowledge of the design and feedback processes. Important Information COVID-19: Too keep everyone safe; masks (can provide), hand sanitizing (at entrances), temperature checks and social distancing are required at Makerspace. Maximum class size has been reduced to allow for social distancing. Class fees: All class fees include materials. If you are a current Bellingham Makerspace member or scheduled volunteer you may select the discounted member registration. The financially challenged are encouraged to request a 50% off, no questions asked, scholarship discount. Volunteers may be eligible for training discounts. Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). After that point instructors and participants are committed and we won't be able to provide any refunds. Donations: Want to help the financially challenged? Donate any amount to the Bellingham Makerspace Scholarship Fund. We want to make it possible for everyone to take the classes they want to take. Other questions?
