Description

On Jan 9, 2021, the Palm Harbor Museum unveils new permanent exhibits. Cowgirls, spoonbills, Gulf coast fishing and more! On Sat, Jan 9, 2021, the Palm Harbor Museum invites you to see all-new exhibits about the Hartley family (whose house became the Museum's permanent home in 1998) and glimpses of Palm Harbor history, including Boot Ranch, Ozona and our own Pinky the Spoonbill, whose ancestors gave the area its early name of "Curlew." These exhibits constitute Phase 1 of a planned series of new permanent displays, generously funded by a grant from the Faith Mission Christian Fund through the Pinellas Community Foundation. Timed reservations every quarter hour for private groups up to four people will be permitted to tour the Museum, in keeping with our COVID19 safety protocol. Masks are required inside the building and while around others at the outdoor refreshment table. Museum admission is FREE on Jan 9, but donations are gratefully accepted, either through Eventbrite or during this event.
