Join us in November for a fun morning with Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado, followed by some well-deserved food and drinks!
Spend the morning with Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado, helping them prep their grounds for the Winter season! It's a great way to get outside, do good for the local community, and meet like-minded people all at the same time. Oh, and see some animals, of course... This November we will head to AATPC (located in Arvada), an amazing organization providing mental health counseling and other services using the power of animals! Their grounds and on-site gardens are in need of some major TLC before the Winter season, and our group of volunteers will help them cleanup so they can serve their clients better. This will be a somewhat physical project (you will get dirty and sweaty), but you'll also enjoy some time with the animals afterward!
Here is everything you need to know to take part in our upcoming event:
First, We Serve: We'll start the day volunteering from 8:30am-11:00am. Come ready to work, and we'll take care of the rest to ensure a meaningful project, with plenty of fun mixed in. Then, We Socialize: Once we've completed the project, we'll head down to Denver Beer Co. in Old Town Arvada for some lunch, drinks and quality time to get to know your fellow volunteers. We're trying to bring up to 30 volunteers to help that morning, so tell your friends to join you in the fun! All we ask is that you register here to reserve your spot and let us know you're coming.
This will be our last in-person gathering in 2021, so we hope you can make it!
