Help us deck the downtown for Christmas Help plant and decorate 35 Christmas trees for downtown Fredericksburg. We provide all the tools and decorations. You provide the labor. It's easy and fun and fast. Bring a small step stool if you have one. Our Mission:Restore and maintain a vibrant urban forest in the City of Fredericksburg. Our Goals:Partner with the City of Fredericksburg on tree related efforts.Recruit and utilize volunteers with planting and maintaining trees for first two years of the tree.Recruit and partner with non profit groups throughout the CityRaise money through grants and fundraising eventsEducate and offer training in proper tree care to volunteers and citizensEducate the public on the benefits of treesPreserve the natural forested areas and the greenways within the city
