=-=-=- Own a piece of photo history! -=-=-= Representatives of the Boise Camera Club recently had the opportunity to work with the Gooding County Museum assisting them in preparing a historic camera display. They had accumulated several hundred film cameras, most well over 50 to 100 years old. What wasn’t chosen for the display will be offered for sale at our Boise Camera Club meeting: Thursday, Oct. 28th at 7:00 p.m. at our regular meeting location - Clearwater Room West Ada School District Offices 1303 East Central Drive, Meridian, ID. We will have tables of $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 cameras, lenses, and other photo equipment. If more than one person wants a particular piece, we will have those persons bid. The photos here represent only a small fraction of the dozens of cameras we will have available. As we are working in $5 increments, bringing $5 bills would be helpful. We will also accept checks made out to the Boise Camera Club. No credit cards will be accepted. All proceeds will be returned to the Gooding County Museum. These cameras are quite interesting and would make great decorative pieces in any photographer’s home. We are inviting not just Boise Camera Club members but anyone interested in these great pieces of photographic history.
