Calling all Black Women educators! Join us for a grateful gathering in honor and appreciation for our Black women educators in New Orleans. This event aims to uplift and sustain our mental wellness, especially before entering a well-deserved Thanksgiving break. Renowned artist and healer Soraya Jean-Louis will be leading us in an art project centered around gratitude and healing. Materials, food, and libations will be provided. All guests are required to wear a mask and bring a vaccination card or show results of a negative COVID test (received within 72 hours). Registration is required. Space is limited to 50 educators. We will start a waitlist after 50. Doors open at 1:00pm. Art project begins at 1:30pm. Leave your current favorite song in the comment section and we will add it to the music playlist for that day.
