We welcome you to our family kick-off event to learn more about TeachAAPI!Join us on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:30-4:00pm for the inaugural launch of TeachAAPI, at Lakeside Golf Club. Bring your whole family for a fun afternoon of games, performances and raffles and get to know other families, all united in the common cause to celebrate our AAPI identity in our communities and schools. Tickets prices: Adults $25 / Children 3-12yrs $15 / Children under 2 are Free Dress code: Festive Hawaiian encouraged. The Golf Club has a strict no jeans policy. About Us: At TeachAAPI, our mission is to leverage the strength of a shared AAPI identity through connection, communication and celebration. We work to increase access to AAPI literature, art, thought leaders and educational resources so that our children will be better equipped to establish a strong sense of self, advocate for themselves and be capable allies for others. Our Goals: Build and foster community among AAPI families, with a focus on celebrating our diverse cultural heritage and strengthening our shared identity.Share resources to foster education, awareness and understanding within the AAPI community and beyond.
