An introduction to Infant Massage (information only - not a hands on class) FREE his FREE class will cover the following: benefits of infant massage, what massage oil is best for baby, "what happens in my baby's body during touch", precautions & contraindications (when NOT to massage my baby), stimulating my child's brain, how & why to take a hands-on class and more. You may take this class prenatally or if you already have your baby. TOUCH, touches a life forever. This classes is intended to educate parents on infant massage, providing information to help them decide if they would like to dig deeper to learn how to best apply the gift of touch for their babies. The class is a prerequisite for the hands-on Mommy & Me Massage Series which is completed in 2-3 sessions (usually when your baby is at least 6 weeks old). Current hands' on classes available are a pre-crawlers class, a pre-walker class and a preschool (Storytime Massage) class. These classes vary in cost depending on which one you take. Come learn more about which class is right for your baby. Limited seating for this day. You must register here or call the instructor. There may not be room for walk-ins. This orientation class is in-person. Masks are optional and not required. Wear one if you want to. The class is in the GDAC building Suite 120. Park in the parking lot behind the building.
