Soulshine: The good feeling you get when you hear music you love that you haven't heard in a long time.
What happens when you put musicians together who have a combined 200+ years of experience and they play lost gems from your past? You get Soulshine.
Frank Hanson , on guitars, and Steve Sturgis, on drums, have played together for over 20 years. Along with keyboard player Karl Carrasco and bassist Mark Oldham, they all provide the perfect backdrop for Stacey Rosen-Sturgis' beautiful vocals and acoustic guitar playing. Not wanting to put just another oldies band together, they mine gold nuggets from the 1960s to the present. You will hear songs you love and haven't heard in years because no one else plays them. Carole King, Sonny & Cher, the Mamas & the Papas, Stevie Nicks, Sarah Bareilles, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon, It's a Beautiful Day, and Bonnie Raitt are just a sample of the artists from which Soulshine borrows songs. Give them a listen and we think you will agree.
Last Name Brewing was born out of a passion for home brewing.
Last Name Brewing was founded by Curt Dale in 2003 as Dale Bros. Brewery, a small brewery born out of a passion for home brewing and a talent for winning medals at the LA County Fair. Joined in 2007 by his brother Andy Dale and sister-in-law Karen McMillen, the brewery began expanding as it won awards and gained fans. In 2012, the brewery moved into its current facility and added a large taproom, beer garden, fermentation lab, and a variety of new and experimental beers to the lineup. In 2016, the brothers discovered they could not trademark the name Dale Bros Brewery, and so renamed it Last Name Brewing as a nod to its roots.
