Rescue cat for rehoming

I have a male cat to rehome, he was rescued about a year ago as a stray, malnourished and practically on his death bed. He’s now neutered and up to date on all vaccines, healthy as can be and finally ready for his forever home. He is FELV negative. Does well with small dogs, other cats and children who can respect space when needed. He’s a super sweet and loving boy, a bit shy at first but once he warms up he wants nothing more than to lay in your lap and just be close to you. He does enjoy going outside so would need a home where that would be safe. He does attempt to bolt out the door at times when opportunity is given, but always comes back by night. He is currently on revolution for flea and ticks. He does respond to his name and comes when called most of the time.
