Provide Customer Service; The Cashier must ensure satisfactory customer service by greeting all customers and assisting them with any needs or questions. They're often called to the help customers locate products and assist customers. Maintain Inventory; Responsible for maintaining the store inventory. Cashier must stock and re-stock shelves, coolers and freezers. Cashiers must maintain all service areas, emptying outside and inside trash. Cashier should be able to lift 5 to 10 pounds. Operate Register: Accept Customer payments; assist customers with all payments types. Cahiers must operate the register and balance at end of shifts. Cashier must prepare daily cash deposits and maintain register balance. Clean Station: Cashiers are tasked with maintaining and cleaning both bathrooms, re filling all supplies in both bathrooms. Cahiers is responsible to clean and wipe down all surfaces per shift, mopping all floors per shift and report all maintain issue and/or repair all maintain issue themselves if needed.
