MERIDEN — A Meriden resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On October 22, the big winner from Meriden purchased a 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket from the Village Food in Meriden and won $30,000.
