Art booths available for the 2nd Friday Night Out event in historic downtown Mesa. Nov. 12 from 6-10 PM. Join this fun event and meet other artists, show and sell your work, and be part of the art community. Spaces are just $25 for those showcasing original work. Check out all the details: Word on the Street is that 2nd Friday Night Out is celebrating the art of words on November 12 from 6-10 PM in historic downtown Mesa on Main Street between Center and Robson. Come check out the interactive word art and more in this FREE event. There will be a "speak your mind" soapbox at 8 PM where anyone can enjoy 15 minutes of fame while telling it like it is. Prizes for the best speaker. It's free to enter so bring a poem, rant about your pet peeve, or tell it like it is and you might win a great prize! At 8:30, enter the Trivia Contest with questions all about the written word. Check out the gallery openings. Live bands will present self-penned lyrics and there will be over 30 artists showcasing original artwork. Plus entertainment, performances, food, shops and restaurants open late, and lots more fun.
