Need to rehome loving Chihuahua

Our darling Lucy is estimated to be around 12 years old. We've had her for 8 years. She is the sweetest little cuddle bug you've ever met. She LOVES people. Seriously, we'll go to the dog park and she has zero interest in the dogs, but she absolutely must say hello to all of the humans. Her favorite place is in a warm cozy lap. She gets along with other dogs as well as kids, but would definitely prefer to be the center of someone's universe. Lucy was diagnosed with tracheal collapse a few years ago, and we now have our hands full with two toddlers. We are experiencing extreme caregiver burnout as a result of this, plus zero support thanks to covid. We are struggling with one income due to childcare, which is making it difficult to maintain her medical needs. We just can no longer give her the loving and supportive home that she deserves, and we want better for her. We are seeking to rehome her with very heavy hearts and immense guilt and regret. We will take our time to ensure the right home, and will want to know a bit about who you are and details on how you're able to provide the support she needs (vet name, other pets in the home, etc).
