Hi, I'm a paid "wedding acoustic live guitarist" that performs "classic acoustic instrumentals:" 1-2 days a week but recently ALSO have requests to do a 1-2 hour "cocktail hour sets" of Classic Rock, Modern Pop, Country and more. Most of my paid gigs are here in the valley in Glendale, Scottsdale from weddings to corporate events(and yes some Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona and Tucson gigs a few times a year too) About me: I'm no "virtuoso guitarist" but hold my own(I was in a hard rock all original band in midwest in 80s and was artistic and obtuse in my 20s. I also slept on peoples floors) These days I'm into "pillow top mattresses" vs. couch surfing so instead of doing scissor kicks off marshall stacks, I traded my marshall 4x12 cabinets for an acoustic guitar and small PA years ago. These days I earn doing paid "music entertainment" wedding gigs a few times a week and have confidence to be in front of 100 to 200 people and be paid for it while straddling Pop/Rock/Country genres (and re arranging those favorites from last 5 decades on acoustic guitar and doing many instrumentals with an acoustic solo guitar bent vs. full band bass /drum/elec guitar/ keyboards/3 part harmony vocals ). ABOUT YOU: You are a reliable, punctual, Male or Female vocalist with smarts, presence! You have "the skills and are used to using" microphone and you exude professional charsma and confidence. Age or looks are not a factor, but your mad skills are. Colbie Caillat great voice with Radiohead passion and angst. Demo and experience required. In my current "me on acoustic guitar/me on lead vocal" paid "Cocktail hour sets", I do play /sing a few original songs in between Adele, Steve Earle Country, The Eagles, Bon Jovi and even some "Guns N Roses" gone mellow acoustic in addition to some more modern "Pop gone Acoustic" by "The Chainsmokers" and "Kings of Leon" Work Today, Paid Today opportunity for the right "Lead Singer"(Ok and almost easier if you do NOT play an instrument because my "cocktail hour amplified audio" has 1 microphone input and one guitar input.
