Busy Plumbing & Heating Service Company looking for experienced, hardworking and punctual Plumbing Mechanics and Helpers for immediate hire. The plumbing mechanic / technician will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance & repair of existing plumbing systems and heating systems in both our residential & commercial clients. We specialize in repairs, installations and rough plumbing for: house lifts and new constructions, faucets, fixtures, water heaters, boilers etc. Plumber’s Helper: assisting plumbing technicians with their service calls. The calls will be in residential, commercial and industrial settings. You will assist in drain cleaning, plumbing repairs, new installations and piping tasks. We are looking for a minimum of 2- 3 years work experience in the plumbing trade. You must be hardworking, punctual, determined and open to learning. Have basic knowledge of tools and plumbing materials, including knowledge of fitting sizes and types of piping. You will be trained on these skills further on the job and have the possibility of being sent to trade school. You must also have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Requirements: o Must work well in a team environment o Must have good oral and written communication skills o Must have problem solving and good organizational skills o NYS Driver’s License o Must be able to multi task and function without much direction Plumbing Mechanic: will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of the plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings, according to specifications or plumbing codes. minimum of 5 – 7 years ON FIELD plumbing experience. Must be hard-working and reliable. Must be willing to work and learn while building customer relationships. Requirements: o Must have good oral and written communication skills o Must have problem solving, troubleshooting and good organizational skills o NYS Driver’s License o Must be able to multi task and function without much direction o In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems o Understanding of the current regulations within the field o Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level o Able to work both independently and as part of a team o Able to interpret blue prints/plans Ability to speak and understand Spanish, Russian or Hebrew as a second language is a plus but not required.
