looking for jazz pianist

Description
Looking for a piano player to play every other Sunday evening (usually 7pm) in an amateur jazz group in Sudbury. We have been playing together for about 10 years and our regular piano player is switching to every other week. We play tunes out of the fake books and we usually work off of a list of 20 to 40 tunes with older tunes and newer tunes tossed in over time. Before COVID we would do a handful of gigs during the year for charity events or community events. Hopefully those come back. The group usually has drums, piano, guitar, bass, and one or more horns (sax, trombone) though on any given week some people can't make it and sometimes we have guests. I have a nice upright yamaha (in tune) piano for when we play inside at my house. When we play outside (during COVID practice or gigs) you need an electric piano. I have an amp. I expect that you will be familiar with songs in the style of the Great American song book, variations of jazz blues, some bop (we don't do too much of this), jazz latin bossa's, etc.. Being able to read lead sheets is a requirement since sometimes the piano plays the melody and sometimes we just call tunes and everybody should be able to read a new tune to some degree. I would expect that a professional piano player would not find this group challenging enough but I would expect many competent amateurs would fit in nicely. Due to COVID we have a few protocols for now. Everybody must be vaccinated. Some of us are old enough to have gotten boosters. We played outdoors in my driveway or in my garage during the warm weather. No masks needed for outdoors playing. We are moving indoors now that the weather is getting a bit chilly. Everyone that is not playing horns will wear a mask. Horn players will wear a mask when they are not playing. For indoor playing days I expect everybody will do a home rapid test on the practice day. Nobody comes if they are sick. It's not perfect but it's a compromise the we are comfortable with. No exceptions. Hopefully this will loosen over time. Lastly I have 2 dogs in my house so at a minimum you have to be able to deal with dogs that sometimes bark and want to be present during practices.
