scrap for free -water heater / dishwasher

I have a water heater that I'm replacing. Its been disconnected and waiting for a new home. Maybe some metal for scrap? I only have one request. I would like this person who picks it up for otherwise for free, to actually help me hoist the new water heater from garage floor up to the 2 foot ledge where the old one was.
