Swift Tool is seeking a day shift shop assistant for our south Kent location. Someone who does well in this position could move on to other opportunities in our shop. As you prove your ability to work efficiently and handle assigned tasks, you'll be given an opportunity to learn more technical skills.
** SHOP EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED. ** If you have a general knowledge of tools and like to work on your car or other mechanical projects, this could be a very good match for you. Your willingness to work well and follow instructions could lead over time to a machinist career with our company. You'll need to be reliable, punctual, energetic, responsible and take on new tasks as you become part of the team.
This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, some over time when necessary. Initial salary is $15 - $17 per hour, performance based bonus is also available, company benefits including 100% company paid health insurance after 90 days. There is substantial room for personal advancement for those willing to prove themselves.
